- First Responders – employee of a governmental agency or private company contracted by government agencies authorized to engage in public safety activities or emergency medical services (such as Firefighters, Volunteer Firefighters, EMTs, Paramedics)
- Active-Duty Military with the U.S. Armed Forces and Coast Guard, including Reserves or Auxiliary (with current military credentials)
- Retired Military (Honorably Discharged with credentials, such as DD214)
- Retired Law Enforcement or Peace Officers (such as Retired Police Officers, Retired Corrections Officers, Retired Judges, Retired District Attorneys, Retired Deputy District Attorneys, Retired Federal Flight Deck Officers, Retired Fish and Wildlife Officers)
- Other Public Safety Professionals authorized to use or handle Firearms in commission of work or service to U.S. federal, state or local government agency (such as Investigative Field Agents, Crime Scene Investigators, Civilian Quartermasters or Firearms Custodians, Law Enforcement or Corrections Trainers, Senior Administrators, Concealed Carry Instructors, Wildlife and Forestry Officers and Officials)
- Private Security Firms – lawfully licensed or registered private security company or employees authorized to carry firearms and, where applicable, maintain the requisite state permit for carrying firearms
